About the Role
The HR & Administration Officer will manage daily HR activities, recruitment, staff records, office administration, and compliance procedures for the EMG-MRT Dili office, while supporting HR processes at the Manatuto mine site. This role is essential to establishing a professional and transparent HR system as the company enters its construction and commissioning phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment processes: job postings, candidate screening, interview arrangements
- Prepare employment contracts, onboarding materials, and HR documents
- Maintain staff attendance, leave records, and personnel files
- Oversee day-to-day office administration (supplies, facility maintenance, vendors)
- Coordinate travel, logistics, vehicle schedules, and staff support services
- Ensure HR compliance with Timor-Leste labour laws and company governance standards
- Support management with reports, scheduling, internal communication
- Assist in developing HR policies, guidelines, and performance systems
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of HR or administration experience
- Strong communication skills; English required; Tetum/Portuguese an advantage
- Knowledge of Timor-Leste labour laws and HR documentation
- High integrity, professionalism, and strong organizational ability
Salary & Benefits
| Salary | USD 500-600 per month (Grade G6, based on EMG-MRT Salary Scheme) |
