EMG-MRT Ilimanu Marble Project Advances Boundary Verification Activities in Manatuto
Manatuto, Timor-Leste – 3 June 2026 — EMG-MRT Ilimanu, Lda. is pleased to announce the progress of land demarcation and boundary verification activities for the EMG-MRT Ilimanu Marble Project in Manatuto Municipality. The field activities were conducted from 1 to 3 June 2026.
This activity represents an important step in the project's ongoing land coordination, technical preparation, and regulatory process. It supports the next stage of project development, including land confirmation, access planning, and preparation for future quarry and industrial operations.

Coordination with Authorities
The verification activities were carried out in coordination with the National Directorate of Land and Property, the Land and Property Department of Manatuto, the Manatuto Municipal Authority, local community leaders, and field support teams. The project team first held coordination meetings with relevant local authorities to formally inform them about the planned boundary survey and demarcation activities, followed by field verification and installation of boundary markers.
