EMG-MRT Showcases Timor-Leste's Green Marble Industry at Osaka Expo 2025

EMG-MRT Ilimanu Lda., a joint venture between EMG Group and Timor-Leste's state-owned mining company Murak Rai Timor, E.P., make its first international debut at Osaka Expo 2025, presenting the nation's vision for a sustainable marble industry.

The Manatuto White Marble Project is Timor-Leste's first integrated full value-chain marble initiative, covering green quarrying, stone processing, local manufacturing, international exports, and talent development. Powered by renewable energy and zero-waste principles, the project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 2030) and represents a new chapter for Timor-Leste's economic diversification.
