EMG-MRT and ANM Hold Post-PFS Meeting to Accelerate National Marble Project

Following the submission of the Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) for the Ilimanu White Marble Project, EMG-MRT Ilimanu, Lda held a coordination meeting with the Autoridade Nacional dos Minerais (ANM) at ANM headquarters.

The meeting was attended by Victor Lei, Chairman & CEO of EMG-MRT, together with EMG-MRT directors, advisors, and technical representatives from Murak Rai Timor, E.P. (MRT). ANM was represented by its President Rafael Danilson Magno de Araujo and senior technical teams.

Meeting Agenda

Discussions focused on the project's technical progress, regulatory pathway, and next development steps. Both sides agreed to work in parallel on technical and legislative matters to accelerate implementation while ensuring full compliance.

Key Milestone Achieved

The PFS submission was recognized as a key milestone for the Ilimanu White Marble Project, which is being developed as Timor-Leste's first large-scale marble industrial platform and a national flagship for sustainable industrial development.
