EMG-MRT Ilimanu and IGEADI Sign Road Access Agreement
Dili, Timor-Leste – 18 June 2026 — EMG-MRT Ilimanu, Lda. and IGEADI, I.P. officially signed an agreement for road access improvement and new road works for the EMG-MRT Ilimanu Marble Project.
The signing ceremony was held at IGEADI and attended by representatives from both EMG-MRT and IGEADI. The agreement was signed by Mr. Victor Lei, Chairman and CEO / Authorized Representative of EMG-MRT Ilimanu, Lda., and the President of IGEADI, I.P.
EMG-MRT Ilimanu, Lda. and IGEADI, I.P. signed the road access agreement in Dili on 18 June 2026.
Project Access Works
This agreement represents an important milestone for the EMG-MRT Ilimanu Marble Project. Under the agreement, IGEADI will undertake road access improvement and new road works for the project, located in Ilimanu / Uma Kaduak, Laclo, Manatuto Municipality, Timor-Leste.
The works include approximately 730 metres of existing access road improvement and approximately 1,770 metres of new access road construction, providing a total access length of 2.5 kilometres.
About EMG-MRT Ilimanu, Lda.
EMG-MRT Ilimanu, Lda. is a joint venture between EMG Group and the state-owned mining company Murak Rai Timor, E.P., established to develop Timor-Leste's first integrated white marble industry chain demonstration project in Manatuto.
The project aims to support the responsible development of Timor-Leste's mineral resources, create local employment opportunities, and contribute to industrial development.
